Montagu Summer Musical Production

On Wednesday 5th July our Summer Musical Production took place.  The show included snippets from 5 musicals from over the past 60 years which were The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, Oliver, The Sound of Music and Grease! Produced and directed by our very talented drama teacher Kelly.

We all had a very fun day and the show was fantastic raising a massive £233.54 from ticket sales, programmes, our tuck shop and selling homemade bottle lamps, leather key rings, jewellery and cards all handmade at our very own hub!

“My family loved the show and the music, they were very excited with the acting and the performance. They loved every minute!”  Wendy

“I think the show was fantastic, brilliant and excellent!”  Robert

“I thought the show was very interesting. It was brilliant!”  Emma

“It was very fun and enjoyable!”  Alison

We would like to thank all our amazing actors for pulling off a show to remember and everyone else that made the show happen! – Thanks to Kelly for teaching us the skills we have learnt to interpret our individual characters, thanks to Hazel for designing and making all of our costumes, thanks to Dave for the enthusiasm and boosting our acting skills and to Kevin for operating our lights on the day. We would also like to thank all of our audience of parents, carers, Costa, Daybreak and more!
